Prior to launching my own business in 1995, I honed my skills with well-known news organizations, major public relations agencies, nonprofits and corporations: I developed marketing strategies and directed the advertising and public relations firms for North America's leading home health care provider; was director of public relations for the New York City chapter of a national not-for-profit, and spent seven years in account management at several leading New York public relations firms. My journalism background includes stints as a writer and reporter for several New York City and Boston television and radio stations and as a features editor for a local consumer health publication.
